What You Enjoy About Local News: A mentor in the business once told me, "There are no bad stories, just bad reporters." I love telling stories, and I strive to do my best with it every day. Being a reporter is a big responsibility in addition to a great job. People are relying on you to find out what's going on. It's our job to hold public officials accountable, get the word out when someone needs help and let people know the system needs to be fixed when something is broken. I can't think of anything else I'd rather do than report the news.

Media Awards and Honors:

  • Billings School Board Award, Best Enterprise, Tracking the Truants
