TOWNSEND (WATE) -- A motorcycle driver hit a bear Monday afternoon in the 6000 block of Highway 321, E. Lamar Alexander Parkway, near Townsend.
It happened at 12:51 p.m., according to Blount County dispatchers.
The motorcycle driver wasn't injured.
The bear wandered off and may have been injured.
