HUNTSVILLE (WATE) -- The case against a man accused of shooting his pregnant ex-girlfriend in the face is going to a grand jury.

Jerry Wayne Walker is charged with first degree attempted murder.

Investigators say Walker shot Jade Sexton, 25, twice in the face in August at a home near Elgin.

Sexton is out of the hospital and testified at Walker's hearing on Wednesday.

Walker remains in jail on a $2.5 million bond.

The district attorney general said investigators are looking into allegations that Walker had child pornography, but no charges have been filed.
