Three Greeneville students, Morristown woman injured in bus/car wreck

GREENEVILLE (WATE) -- Three Greene County students in a school bus and the driver of a car were injured Friday morning in a collision in Mosheim.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Lee Cutshall, one of the students was taken to a local hospital with back pain and a minor facial injury.

The driver of the car, Jennifer Baker, 20, of Morristown, was injured more seriously, the trooper said. 

Baker was charged with failure to yield.

The wreck happened on West Andrew Johnson Highway (U.S. 11E) and Emerald Road when Baker pulled out of a parking lot and into the path of of the Greene County school bus carrying about 25 students.

The bus, driven by Helen Fincher, 66, was uninjured. The other two students injured were not taken to the hospital.
