5 injured when pickup truck crashes into Greeneville Waffle House

It happened at the Waffle House at 2761 E. Andrew Johnson Highway shortly after 9:00 a.m.GREENEVILLE (WATE) -- Five people were injured Wednesday morning when a pickup truck crashed into a Waffle House in Greeneville.
It happened at the Waffle House at 2761 E. Andrew Johnson Highway shortly after 9:00 a.m.
Police said the pickup truck driver, Baudelio Lopez, 84, of Greeneville, accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake.
Two people in Waffle House were injured.
Lopez and two passengers were also injured.
All five were taken to hospitals.
Waffle House re-opened for business later Wednesday.
