MCGHEE-TYSON AIRPORT (WATE) -- The Transportation Security Administration has put out a list of holiday travel tips to make your travels this season safe and easy.
TSA officials advise passengers to come prepared to the airport checkpoints because that will make the security screening process easier for themselves and for other passengers.
Airport Director of Security Steve Woods says you should, have your ID and boarding pass out and ready.
Also remove shoes and take off jackets.
Take out liquids and laptops, and finally use the airports family lane, if you're traveling with small children.
