HEISKELL (WATE) -- The Anderson County Sheriff's Office arrested three suspects for burglary after a quick thinking grandmother noticed a strange car parked at her residence and called 911.
Justen Wayne Hatmaker, 19, of Lake City, was charged with aggravated burglary, reckless endangerment and evading arrest after leading deputies on a chase that ended near the Knox County line.
Brittany Denise, 20, of Knoxville, and Trina Cristella Blalock, 23, of Oliver Springs, were also arrested and charged with aggravated burglary along with several other charges.
Sheriff Paul N. White says deputies responded to a call just after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday on East Wolf Valley Road in Heiskell.
The homeowner with her three young grandchildren waited at the entrance to her driveway after calling.
The three suspects left the home with Hatmaker striking the homeowner's truck in the driveway.
A witness driving by saw the incident and followed the car a short distance, phoning in a description to 911.
The suspects were taken into custody along with items from the home burglary. Some stolen property was found after being tossed from the car during the chase.
