KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Two teens charged with burglarizing vehicles were caught by Knoxville police after dropping their flashlights at the scene.
Officers were called to West Hills Village Apartments at 3250 Lake Brook Boulevard at 1:58 a.m. Wednesday to investigate suspicious men looking into cars with flashlights
A few minutes later they found the pair, who had run away and crouched between two cars, along with their flashlights.
Police said they found a half empty bottle of whiskey, two marijuana pipes, several GPS units and iPods in the teens' vehicle.
Adnan A. Ismail, 19, and Yusif Assad Hamed, 18, both of Knoxville, are charged with underage consumption, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of burglary tools and two counts of vehicle burglary.
