KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Officers responded to a report of gunshots fired in South Knoxville on Monday night.
Officers were told a male and female were seen arguing at 517 Avenue A, near Martin Mill Pike, before one fired a gun at the other.
When police arrived, both parties involved in the argument were gone.
The investigation is ongoing.
