KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- A billboard along I-40 in Knoxville is being relocated after numerous complaints about an ad by an animal rights group.

The picture from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) implies that meat can make men have more feminine qualities because of the hormones found in most beef.

But Douglas Outdoor Advertising officials said they're moving the billboard due to the influx of complaints.

However, the billboard won't completely leave the Knoxville area. After a red banner is placed over the man's chest, it will be put back up at I-75 and Callahan Road.

PETA representatives said they're disappointed with the decision to move the billboard. They said they're only trying to send a message about a huge health problem.
