NASHVILLE (AP) -- Former governor Ned McWherter predicts the Legislature will get involved in the TennCare dilemma.
Gov. Bredesen is dissolving the health care program because of its cost and because his reforms have been thwarted. [ TennCare to dissolve ]
McWherter was governor 10 years ago when TennCare was put in place.
He has suggested a two-year moratorium on lawsuits against TennCare to allow Bredesen to put reforms in place.
