Missing Knoxville girl found unharmed at mall

KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- A west Knoxville girl is safe at home after disappearing for more than a day.
Knoxville police found Gabriela Felix at the West Town Mall Monday evening. She was apparently unharmed.
Officers say Gabriela disappeared in the parking lot of Northshore Woods Apartments around 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon while helping a family member load items into a car. Police weren't notified of her disappearance until early Monday afternoon.
Her parents don't speak English.
Detectives tried to get information from residents and spent several hours searching the woods.
Then last night a family friend told police they could find the girl at the mall.
Knoxville police say they plan on interviewing Gabriela to find out what happened after she spends some time with her family.
Gabriela Felix was last seen at Northshore Woods Apartments
Police say there was no evidence of foul play and an Amber Alert was never issued.
