KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- A man was killed in a shooting at a West Knoxville restaurant just after 6:00 Saturday night.

The victim was identified as Dyishun Foust, 26.

A witness who didn't want to be identified tells 6 News he heard two men arguing in the back parking lot of the Shoney's restaurant at 8529 Kingston Pike.

A few minutes later, the argument turned physical and shots were fired.

"I heard three shots, at least three. Some people say two, I heard three, and that's when the guy went down."

The witness called 911, then went to check on Foust. "He was still breathing at that point, but there was not a lot I could do to help him."

An employee at nearby Smoothie King witnessed the shooting from the drive through window.

"I opened the window and they were like somebody is getting shot, somebody is getting shot and I looked over. I heard the gunshot but I didn't see it and then I saw him fall to the ground," said Kelle Green.

The witnesses say a family restaurant in a busy strip mall is the last place they expect to see police and crime scene tape.

"I just came to get some money from my bank and witnessed something I thought I would never see."

Police are looking for a yellow Volvo station wagon with one or two suspects.
