Second Harvest Double Your Donation

Double Your Donation Day on December 17 is a special event supported by WATE 6 News and many other East Tennessee media organizations to raise money for Second Harvest Food Bank. Anonymous donors have pledged up to $100,000 in matching funds, so the contribution you make is doubled.
If $200,000 is raised during Double Your Donation, that means food for 600,000 meals can be purchased, which feed people in Second Harvest’s 18-county service area in January and February.
The Double Your Donation campaign takes place December 17 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. If you wish to make a donation now, you can do so at the Second Harvest web site.
