Chef Jock (Giacomo) Lijoi operated three resturants in the Knoxville area and published "Chef Jock's Tastebud Delight Cookbook." He appeared daily on WATE-TV's noon broadcast from 2000 to 2002. This page contains many of the recipes he shared during his daily cooking segments.

Saute Dust

Chef Jock's recipes often include saute' dust, a simple mixture of:

  • 50% granulated garlic
  • 50% granulated onion

Other recipes will use grill dust, which is saute' dust with a few more ingredients:

  • 50% Saute' Dust
  • 20% black pepper
  • 20% paprika
  • 10% salt
