March brings full slate of events to Tennessee Theatre

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) - March brings another month of fun at the Tennessee Theatre.

Jason Mraz is in town on March 9 to play a sold-out show. Mraz's pop hits include Grammy Award-winning songs "I'm Yours" and "I Won't Give Up."

On March 15 and 16, the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will perform Carmina Burana at 7:30 p.m. The Knoxville Choral Society, which will perform in Latin, joins the symphony as part of the Moxley Carmichael Masterworks Series.

The Dancing with the Stars tour, featuring brothers Maksim and Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd, takes to the stage on Wednesday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate dancing, love and life.

At the end of the month, the Disney Junior Dance Party on Tour takes the stage on Tuesday, March 27 at 6 p.m. You can sing along to Disney Junior's greatest hits with Mickey and the Roadster Racers, Sofia the First, Puppy Dog Pals, Elena of Avalor, Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, The Lion Guard and more.

And finally, country band Home Free brings its Timeless World Tour to the stage on Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31 at p.m. The five-member band has released its fourth album which debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. Home Free has been performing live for five years and has 185 million YouTube views. VIP packages offer a front row seat, meet-and-greet and private performance of one song.
