Oak Ridge groups pack 20,000 meals for the hungry

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WATE) - Three Oak Ridge non-profits worked together Thursday to help the world's most vulnerable as part of a campaign called "Rise Against Hunger."

More than 100 volunteers worked together to pack 20,000 nutritious meals, following an assembly-line process. The dehydrated meals consist of rice, soy, vegetables and 23 essential vitamins and minerals.
