Winter Heritage Festival to showcase East Tennessee

TOWNSEND, Tenn. (WATE) - The Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center and the Cades Cove Presentation Association are hosting the Winter Heritage Festival. 

The festival will from Jan. 26-28. Attendees can expect to hear stories from historians about the area. Also, the Blount County Fire Department's cooking team will provide a cast iron lunch for $10. 

There will be a church service at 11 a.m. on Sunday with a cast iron country breakfast beforehand at 10 a.m.
