278th Called to Duty | WATE News, Knoxville, Tenn.

The Tennessee Army National Guard's 278th ACR has its headquarters in Knoxville and is the largest unit in the state. More than 3,000 soldiers were deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in February 2010. Their deployment was ended earlier than original planned and they began returning home in June 2010.
