Armed robbers strike West Knoxville Perkins

KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- Police are searching for two suspects in an early morning armed robbery Monday at Perkins Restaurant in West Knoxville.
Officers say two men armed with guns entered Perkins at 9507 Kingston Pike around 5:30 a.m. Monday.
Witnesses describe the suspects as two black males who were both wearing masks at the time.
One suspect was reportedly wearing a red shirt. Witnesses say the other robber had on a black and red scarf.
The suspects were able to get an undisclosed amount of money from the safe before taking off toward Parkside Drive.
