
KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- Police are searching for two suspects involved in a shooting early Wednesday morning in East Knoxville.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Dodson Avenue near Walter P. Taylor homes.
Officers say the original call came from a home on Dodson, but they found the victim a block away, near Olive Street.
He had two gunshot wounds, one in the thigh and one in the wrist. He was taken to UT Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers are still looking for the suspects. They're both described as black males.
One is 6'0 with a heavyset build and braids. He wore a dark hoodie and basketball shorts at the time of the shooting.
The second suspect is described as 5'5 with a slim build. Witnesses say he wore a dark hoodie and shorts at the time of the shooting.
