Maryville man arrested for child sexual exploitation

MARYVILLE (WATE) -- A Maryville man was arrested at his Knoxville workplace Monday for child sexual exploitation.
David Louis Childress, 43, is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor.
Investigators with the HEAT (Hi-Tech Evidence and Technology) Unit/ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children), have been conducting an investigation of Childress since September, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators found several images of child pornography on Childress' computer.
Childress was arrested at his work place in Knoxville by the U.S. Marshals Service.
He's being held in the Blount County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
Childress is scheduled for a court hearing on November 9.
