KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- Knox County deputies arrested three people Sunday evening after a violent home invasion.

It happened around 5 P.M. on Oscar Armstrong Road in east Knox County. Officials say two men forced their way into the home, held a couple at gunpoint, and pistol whipped the man.

The woman called 911 and dispatchers traced the call. Knoxville police officers in the area saw two suspects run out of the house.  A third suspect was found in a car down the street.

Police say they had marijuana, money from the house, jewelry, and the homeowner's wallet. No names are being released at this time.
