KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- Police and the sheriff's office are investigating whether three business burglaries in Knoxville Wednesday night are connected.

The first burglary was at Rent-A-Wreck at 6100 Western Avenue at 10:38 p.m. Police don't know if the burglars got anything.

A second burglary was in Knox County at Twister's Shakes & Sundaes at 7237 Tazewell Pike around midnight. Investigators say the front door was busted out, but they don't know if the burglars took anything.

The third burglary happened at 1:38 a.m. at Executive Cleaners at 418 S. Northshore Drive. Thieves broke through the sliding glass doors and took the cash drawer from behind the counter. The owner said it only had change in it.

No suspect descriptions are available. Authorities say none of the businesses had security cameras.
