Fire causes serious damage to Knoxville home

KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- A fire early Wednesday morning has seriously damaged an unoccupied home in South Knoxville.
The home involved in the fire is located at 4308 Candora Road. That's in the Vestal community near Maryville Pike.
Fire officials say the home sustained very expensive damage. Reports of the flames first came in about 7:05 a.m.
Though the damage appeared to be extensive, officials are unsure whether the home would be salvageable.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
