NEWPORT (WATE) -- A Newport bar and grill owner pleaded guilty Tuesday to sales tax evasion, but she won't serve any time in prison.

Patsy Ann Quinton, 56, owner Pat's Bar and Grill, pleaded guilty to 36 Class E felony counts of sales tax evasion.

She was sentenced to four years in a state penitentiary. However, her sentence was suspended and she was placed on four years of probation instead.

As a condition of her probation, Quinton was ordered to pay $14,773.07 in restitution to the state for unpaid sales tax. It was collected from January 1, 2005, through December 31, 2007.
