ATHENS (AP) -- A former deputy court clerk has been indicted in McMinn County on a charge of stealing cash from the office.
Agents arrested Tina Snyder, 49, of Athens, after she was indicted on an official misconduct charge.
The indictment accuses Snyder of taking between $10,000 to $60,000 from the McMinn County Circuit Court clerk's office.
Snyder's family told the Daily Post Athenian she had personal issues with the clerk that led to her firing and the investigation.
Snyder is free on bond and due for court hearing on Nov. 30.
