2 arrested for construction site thefts in Seymour

SEYMOUR (WATE) -- A man and woman from Knoxville were arrested for construction site thefts in Seymour.

Timothy Ross, 34, is charged with theft, criminal trespassing, vandalism and possession of burglary tools. He is being held in the Knox County Jail on unrelated charges.

Tamera Caylor, 20, is charged with theft, criminal trespassing and possession of burglary tools.

On July 1, a property owner called the Sevier County Sheriff's Department saying the copper had been cut from a house under construction in the Majestic Meadows Subdivision.  

An officer found the suspect's vehicle at a Taco Bell in Knoxville.

Several more stolen items from construction sites in the Seymour area, along with burglary tools, were found in the vehicle.  

Caylor is being held under a $10,000 bond. She's due in court August 10.
