
KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- A man who's accused of trying to run over a Knox County deputy Tuesday turned himself in later.
Knox County deputies went to the home of Sherman Casby, 32, to serve a warrant on him Tuesday afternoon.
In the process, Casby drove up, pulled a gun and tried to run over a deputy.
The deputy fired two shots. One hit Casby's tire.
Casby left his car at in North Knoxville at Windsor Court Apartments at 614 Cedar Lane.
Officers searched Casby's home and say they found drugs.
Casby turned himself in to authorities Tuesday evening.
