A cold front moves in this weekend and arctic air follows! Temperatures will drop into the teens early Sunday morning and will only warm into the low 30s by the afternoon.
On average, high temperatures this time of year should be around 47 degrees and we will be well below that the next several days.
The beginning of 2018 will be even colder as overnight lows drop into the lows teens and single digits. That means wind chill values could drop below zero for higher elevations.
High temperatures will only warm into the mid to upper 20s through Tuesday as well.
Temperatures will remain below average through the work week and next weekend so be sure you are prepared. Extra layers will be necessary, no matter the time of day.
Also, don't forget about our furry friends! It is also too cold for them to stay outdoors for long periods of time so make sure they have a warm place to stay. Finally, if your pipes are prone to freezing, let them drip during the overnight to help prevent that from happening.
