GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) - Kmart stores in Greeneville and Crossville are among the latest round of closures announced by the chain's parent company Sears Holdings.
The company released a list Thursday of 64 Kmart stores and 39 Sears stores that will be closing in March and early April.
Included on the list are the Kmart stores at 1317 Tusculum Boulevard in Greeneville and 190 Cumberland Square in Crossville. A store in Goodlettsville is also on the list. No Sears stores in Tennessee are included in this round of closures.
The company says eligible associates impacted by the closures will receive severance and will be able to apply for open positions at other stores.
Liquidation sales at these stores are set to begin as early as January 12.
