KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WATE) - The International Biscuit Festival announced Tuesday it is taking a break.
The Knoxville festival posted on its website that the break is due to wanting "some time to rest."
"After eight years of beautiful Biscuits, we've decided to take some time off to rest. We appreciate all the hard work of our volunteers and the support of our Partners. Hope to see you back here next year!"
The festival started eight years ago and brought biscuit lovers and Southern food writers together. The main event included tastings, a pageant and music performances.
