KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) - Knoxville police are looking for a driver who hit a teen on a scooter in East Knoxville on Tuesday afternoon and didn't stop.
The Knoxville Police Department says Joshua Langston, 15, was riding his scooter along Bertrand Street crossing McCalla Avenue when he was hit by a beige SUV, or possibly a Jeep-type vehicle.
The teen was knocked up and over the vehicle and landed on a curb. Police say he had cuts and abrasions and was taken to UT Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
