Man wanted in deadly shooting arrested near Clinton

CLINTON, Tenn. (WATE) - A man wanted in a deadly shooting last week in Anderson County was arrested Tuesday.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Department confirmed that Christopher Lee Roberts, 45, was arrested by investigators Tuesday. 

Roberts was wanted in a shooting last Thursday in the 600 block of Sinking Springs Road. Deputies say Bradley Charles Bivens, 48, of Clinton, was shot and killed.

Deputies say Roberts was arrested without incident at the home of a family member on Ridenour Circle near Clinton. 

Roberts lived in an outbuilding near the home where he was arrested, according to the sheriff's office. He will be charged with criminal homicide and is being held at the Anderson County Detention Facility without bond. 

Chief Deputy Mark Lucas told WATE 6 On Your Side Roberts' girlfriend is being interviewed, but she is not yet facing any charges.
