North Carolina man arrested for child sex crimes in Sevierville

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. (WATE) - A North Carolina man is in jail charged with first-degree sex offense with a child and two counts of indecent liberties with a child. The charges come after a three-month investigation by the Orange County, NC Sheriff's Office and the Sevierville Police Department.

Curtis Alan Sisk, of Hillsborough, N.C., was arrested after several victims came forward to report the abuse, according to Orange County Sheriff Charles Blackwood. The crimes were reported to have occurred in Sevierville as well as Hillsborough N.C. between March 2003 and September 2010.

“All accusations of sexual abuse are concerning; however, when they involve children victims, it is particularly heart wrenching.  I commend the victims for their bravery in coming forward to report these crimes.”

Sisk received a $100,000 bond on Thursday for first-degree sex offense with a child. On Jan. 12, Sisk was arrested on indecent liberties with a child and was released after posting a $29,500 bond.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact Orange County Sheriff's Investigator Jason Nazworth at (919) 245-2925.
