Woman killed in Fentress County house fire

GRIMSLEY, Tenn. (WATE) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, along with the Fentress County Sheriff's Office and Tennessee Fire Investigative Services, are working to find out what caused a house fire Saturday morning that killed a Fentress County woman.

A TBI spokesperson says a home in the 1000 block of Maynard Drive in Grimsley burned Saturday morning. The body of Melissa Durham, 50, was found inside after the fire was put out.

Durham's body has been sent to the Regional Forensic Center in Knoxville for an autopsy.

TBI says the investigation is active and ongoing.
