Missing Tennessee teenager found safe, according to TBI


Missing Tennessee teenager Jade Mullen has been safely recovered in Alabama, according to Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.


SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an Endangered Child Alert for a 16-year-old from Sumner County.

Jade Kailee Mullen was last seen at her home on April 26. Her father reported her missing three days later to the Sumner County Sheriff's Office.

She was last seen wearing black pants, a black T-shirt, white tennis shoes, and glasses. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes.

According to the TBI, Jade is in the company of adults Ricky Smith, Derrick Evans and Diana West.

Smith and Evans both have a violent criminal history and West has previous convictions of promoting prostitution.

Prior to Jade being reported missing, they were stopped in Pelham, Alabama, by law enforcement and all individuals listed were positively verified.

They were last believed to be in the Gulf Shores, Alabama, area.
