Nashville ranked 11th angriest city across United States

WKRN - NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Feeling angry today? Apparently a lot of Nashvillians might be right there with you, according to Thrillist.

The city was just named the 11th angriest city in the country by the online magazine.

Thrillist says, "Our evaluation of a city's anger doesn't come from the deep well of extremely serious issues every city struggles with."

They ranked cities based on their general attitudes toward sports, traffic, tourism, food, other people from their city, and other situations.

The first thing noted about Nashville is the rise of bachelor and bachelorette parties, pointing out how the city's increasing food and drink profile combined with its central location have contributed.

They then mention the spotlight both ABC's "Nashville" and "The Voice" has put on the city, saying it is turning "‘The Athens of the South' into ‘Los Angeles, but specifically for country music and stuff.'"

No other city from the South made the list, which is topped by Philadelphia. Click here to read more.
