Amber Alert cancelled after Memphis 3-year-old found

TBI says Tremiyah Rainer was kidnapped by her non-custodial father

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said an Amber Alert was cancelled after Tremiyah Rainer was found and Ladarrius Johnson was taken into custody.


MEMPHIS (WATE) - A West Tennessee Amber Alert was issued for a three-year-old after a kidnapping in Memphis Monday morning.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Tremiyah Rainer was kidnapped at gunpoint by her non-custodial father, Ladarrius Johnson. The Memphis Police Department said Johnson fired several rounds at Tremiyah's mother during the kidnapping.

Police said Johnson fled on foot from 5308 Steuben Drive in Memphis. They said he has a violent criminal history which includes domestic assault and robbery and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Rainer is three feet tall and 65 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, pink floral pants and white sandals. She has multiple pony tails with pink pony-tail holders.

Johnson is a 23-year old black male, 6'2" tall and 215 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. TBI said they have no vehicle description.
