Florida store owner arrested for selling kits to make meth

MARIANNA, Fla. (WMBB) - A convenience store clerk finds himself in hot water for selling kits to cook meth in Marianna, Florida. 

The Marianna Police Department says that 44 year old Sabirali Saboowalla, the owner of the Big and Little store was selling household lye, lighter fluid, cold packs, and lithium batteries as a kit for the sole purpose of manufacturing meth.

Investigators also found glass pipes that were being sold to ingest meth. Sabirali Saboowalla is being charged with possession or distribution of listed chemicals, prescription drugs without a prescription, possession of listed chemicals, and retail distribution of drug paraphernalia.

Saboowalla was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
