FORECAST: Enjoy our last bright warm day for awhile

This Afternoon: It will be another beautiful and warm afternoon. High: 79° 
  • Temperatures heat up into the upper 70s and low 80s this afternoon. Some spotty showers are expected and possibly a thunderstorm. 
Tonight: Clouds increase with scattered rain moving in overnight. Low: 59°
  • Some spotty showers are possible before midnight but scattered rain does not move in until overnight into early Saturday morning. 
Tomorrow: Scattered rain during the morning turning spotty by the afternoon. High: 73°
  • Scattered rain moves through mainly early in the morning with a few lingering showers late morning. Expect wet roadways and some spotty showers/thunderstorms during the afternoon. It will be breezy with gusts around 20 MPH for most. Higher elevations in the Foothills / Smokies will have wind gusts closer to 40+ MPH.
Sunday (AWARE): Scattered, heavy rain with some thunderstorms early. High: 64°
  • A strong cold front moves through Sunday morning bringing scattered, heavy rain and some thunderstorms. We dry out during the afternoon with high temperatures only warming up into the mid-60s. 
Next Week:
Some lingering showers are possible for the mountains early Monday morning but most of us will be dry at this point. Temperatures will be cool Monday afternoon with highs in the low 60s but we'll see some sunshine! Tuesday will be beautiful with highs in the mid-60s and it will be mostly sunny. Enjoy it because rain returns Wednesday and Thursday.
