Former Tennessee forward Tobias Harris traded to Clippers

(WATE) - Former Tennessee forward Tobias Harris is headed to his fourth team in the last eight seasons after a trade is sending him from Detroit to the Clippers.

Harris is a centerpiece in the deal that will send 5-time NBA All Star Blake Griffin to the Pistons. Griffin will team up with Detroit center Andre Drummond setting up one of the best front courts in the NBA.

Harris played one season at Tennessee in 2010, averaging 15.3 points per game.

His numbers are higher than ever in the NBA this season, averaging 18.1 per game while making over 40 percent of his 3-pointers.

The 25-year-old Harris is leaving Detroit for Los Angeles along with Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic, a first-round and a second-round draft pick. The Pistons will get Brice Johnson and Willie Reed, along with Griffin.
