KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) - No. 24 Tennessee moves to 3-2 in the SEC after beating Texas A&M 75-62 at Thompson-Boling Arena Saturday night.
Kyle Alexander notched a career-high 14 points in the win.
The Vols defense also played a huge role in the victory, forcing 17 Aggie turnovers, the second-most of the season for Texas A&M.
Tennessee lead by as many as 14 points in the win. Big contributors included Jordan Bowden who lead all Vols in scoring with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Admiral Schofield and Jordan Bone also finished in double figures, with 12 and 10 points respectively.
The Vols are currently riding a 3-game win streak after going 0-2 to start conference play.
Next on Tennessee's slate is a road match at Missouri on Wednesday, Jan. 17, where the Vols will face former head coach Cuonzo Martin. Tip-off is set for 9 p.m. ET.
