KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) - The Tennessee Volunteers are going dancing. The Vols will take on Wright State in Dallas on Thursday. Tip-off is at 12:40 p.m. on TruTV.
The Vols are in the South Bracket, along with #1 seed Virginia and #2 seed Cincinnati. If the Vols win their first round game, they would play the winner of Miami (FL) and Loyola Chicago.

This marks Tennessee's first NCAA tournament appearance since 2014. The Vols made it to the Sweet Sixteen that year before falling to Michigan 73-71.
Tennessee finished the regular season 23-7 (13-5 in the SEC), good enough for a share of the SEC regular season title. The Vols fell in the SEC tournament championship game to Kentucky 77-72 on Sunday.
The Vols were lead this season by SEC Player of the Year Grant Williams and All-SEC First-teamer Admiral Schofield. Head coach Rick Barnes picked up SEC Coach of the Year and is in the running for the national award as well.

This year's Confidential series features Tennessee, along with Auburn, Clemson, Loyola-Chicago, Nevada, Ohio State and Rhode Island.
The SEC landed eight teams in this year's tournament, two more than the previous record of six. The ACC had the most teams with nine.
