FARRAGUT (WATE) -- The town of Farragut celebrated the grand opening of its fourth park Thursday evening.

The 26-acre McFee Park at 917 McFee Road in southwest Farragut includes two lighted fields and a lighted walking trail. A playground, splashpad, amphitheater and picnic shelters will be added in the next few years.

"We're looking forward to seeing active soccer games on our park and people using the walking trail that surrounds this. It's exciting for the town of Farragut," said Farragut Mayor Eddy Ford.

The new park was built on land that was once part of the 131-acre Seal family dairy farm.
