KINGSTON (WATE) -- Leon Houston was taken back into custody Thursday after a judge ruled he violated a condition of his bond.
He and his brother, Rocky, are charged in the fatal shootings of Roane County Deputy Bill Jones and his friend, Mike Brown, in 2006.
Tracking Solutions, the company supplying the monitoring devices for the brothers, quit working with them earlier in August.
A representative said in a hearing on August 7 that Rocky screamed, belittled and harassed her several times. Rocky was taken back into custody at the end of that hearing.
Leon, however, had remained on bond.
Leon told the judge Thursday he tried to get a monitoring company, but wasn't successful in time for the hearing.
Leon will be booked into the Roane County Jail.
His pre-trial hearing is set for September 25 and his trial is set for November 2. He'll represent himself.
The brothers were released on bonds after their first trials ended in a hung jury and a failure to reach full verdicts.
