1 man arrested, 2 sought in Niota meth lab bust

NIOTA (WATE) -- Police in Niota have arrested one man and they're seeking two others suspected of running a large meth lab.

The suspect who's in custody was identified as David Gerald Milsaps.

Police haven't released the names of the other two suspects yet.

Officers busted the meth lab at a mobile home and out building on Highway 309 Monday night. They said it produced around $1,000 a month in meth.

One lab was in the out building and two labs were in the mobile home. Police said the meth making materials in the home included acid, propane and fertilizer.

Police confiscated weapons, including an assault rifle, and 10 to 15 pounds of pot.

Officers had surveillance on the trailer and used an informant to help with their investigation.
