BEAN STATION (WATE) - A Grainger County man was arrested for murder Saturday after officers found the body of a 30-year-old man in his home earlier in the week.

James Campbell, 32, is now charged with first degree murder in the death of Thomas Russell, Jr.

Campbell was arrested Saturday morning without incident.

Russell's body was found Wednesday in his Bean Station home. Family members became worried and called police after they had not heard from him.

Deputies say Russell had been dead for some time.

Campbell is being held in the Grainger County Jail on $100,000 bond. He's expected in court on Tuesday.
