CLINTON (WATE) - A LaFollette woman was arrested on a vehicular homicide charge in connection to a 2009 Anderson County wreck between her SUV, a car and four motorcycles.
Edna Suzanna Bunch, 35, was arrested Monday on a two count indictment. She's charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication and first-offense DUI.
Three people were injured in the wreck on April 5, 2009 at the intersection of State Route 61 and Norris Freeway.
Bunch is accused of driving a Ford Explorer head-on into a motorcycle driven by Keith L. McBride, 45, of Oak Ridge. He died of his injuries.
Another motorcycle driven by Logan Crowley, 20, of Oneida, flipped after it went off the roadway.
Bunch, who was going eastbound on Highway 61, crossed over into the westbound lane and sideswiped a Honda Accord driven by Stanley M. Wade, 61, of Clinton.
He and his passenger, Sheila Wade, 38, were injured.
A wheel on Bunch's Explorer came off and hit a motorcycle driven by Tommy V. Norman, 55, of Speedwell. Norman was injured.
Michael Brewster, 20, of Oneida jumped off his motorcycle to avoid a collision.
An Anderson County grand jury returned Bunch's indictment in January.
Bunch is being held on a $75,000 bond. She's scheduled to be arraigned June 21.
