WALLAND (WATE) - After several neighbors living near Walland raised concerns about an "eyesore" RV, the property owner removed it.
It's not the house on Patterson Road, just off Ellejoy Road, they were upset about.
Neighbors in the upscale area called 6 News because they don't like the look of an RV parked in a yard at the beginning of the neighborhood.
The RV has no siding and the metal appears to be peeling off the vehicle.
People in the neighborhood initially did interviews on camera, but didn't want to be broadcast because they fear retribution.
They say the RV has been there for years.
There's no code against it in Blount County, but many people say it's an eye sore.
6 News went to talk to the home owner, Josh. No one answered the door, but he called back later.
Josh agreed to an interview, saying he was angry 6 News was doing a story about his property, and neighbors should mind their own business.
However, Josh said he'd torn down the RV, which was only there for two months.
He says he lost his job so he repaired RVs for extra money. He says that's why there are also some in the front yard.
Josh will likely continue his fix-it projects, but the eyesore the neighbors complained about at the entrance of their neighborhood is no longer there.
